Race Summary

BATTINGSTAR sprinted clear on the rail, set the pace under pressure into upper stretch, dug in nearing the eighth pole and prevailed under steady urging. BEEQUEONE was reserved along the rail, swung out splitting horses at the quarter pole, was bumped in upper stretch and finished well to best the others. BLUE HILL BAY pressed the pace outside the winner into upper stretch and narrowly lost the place in the final strides. E. JUDITH settled along the rail to the top of the stretch, was bumped along the inside in upper stretch and finished evenly. FIDDLERS PRINCESS failed to mount a serious rally while racing wide throughout. ARE YOU DANCING chased four wide to the turn, came in and bumped BEEQUEONE in upper stretch and faltered. MADDIES' REWARD raced wide around both turns and failed to menace.
