Race Summary

LIQUOREUX gained a slight edge inside early while dueling with CAB, was headed by that one a quarter-mile out, regained the advantage soon after and was hard ridden the remainder. CAB pressed the winner four wide, headed him entering the lane, lost the edge back to LIQUOREUX and continued on to clearly best the rest. KENDON VALLEY settled near the inside while outrun, rallied from the rail and was gaining late. MONTSTAR stalked the dueling leaders four wide into the stretch and flattened out. GRADY O, outrun early, moved six wide into the stretch, was bumped at the furlong grounds by PINE CAY when that one came out, then lacked a further account. BOOKMASTER raced in behind rivals for a half, came out eight wide into the lane and was empty when the test came. PINE CAY settled two wide, maneuvered out six wide for the drive, bumped with GRADY O at the furlong grounds and was finished.
