Race Summary
THORN SONG set the pace off the rail, moved out to the four path on the backstretch while leading the field at a good pace, angled back to near the two path on the second turn, repulsed a bid by FAITH'S MAGIC leaving the furlong marker then held sway under pressure. EINSTEIN (BRZ) close up inside, moved out to the three path on the backstretch,angled back to the rail for the second turn, tracked the leader into the stretch, angled out for a clear path with a furlong to go and finished willingly for the place. STEVE'S DOUBLE close up four wide, moved well out in the course on the backstretch, came back in to the four path on the second turn, stayed on well to inside the final furlong but lacked a closing bid. FAITH'S MAGIC closest to the pace three wide, moved out on the backstretch, came back in to the three path and challenged the winner on the second turn, pressured that one into the final furlong and weakened. PORTUGA (BRZ) dwelt and was outrun.
