INCA KING opened a long lead midway down the backstretch, set the pace inside to the turn, dug in entering the stretch, battled into midstretch and yielded late. WAR MONGER steadied sharply and bothered rivals while rank in the early stages, steadied repeatedly between horses on the backstretch and into the far turn then tired in upper stretch. ELUSIVE FORT (SAF) raced five wide throughout and lacked a strong closing bid. PRINCE RAHY steadied between horses when bothered nearing the first turn and failed to threaten while four wide. DANAK (IRE) steadied in traffic early, gave way on the turn and was pulled up in distress nearing the wire and was vanned off.
