A supplemental nomination fee of $1,000 may be made on or before Sunday, October 21; $500 to pass the entry box; $500 to start, with $100,000 added. FISHY ADVICE was outrun early, came wide for the drive, dug in determinedly outside and was clear at the finish. THORN SONG was rated along early, rallied three wide on the second turn and stayed on to earn the place. OPERATION RED DAWN was outrun along the inside early, altered course in upper stretch and finished well outside. GIANT WRECKER contested the pace along the inside and tired in the final furlong. BARON VON TAP raced close up along the inside and had no response when roused. NATIONAL CAPTAIN (SAF) contested the pace from the outside and tired in the stretch. PALACE EPISODE raced inside, saved ground and had no rally. ROCK LOBSTER had no response when roused. INTERPATATION was outrun along the inside.
